About Paul Payne

Prior to founding iVersant, Paul worked for Campus Crusade for Christ International, a non-profit Christian missions organization with more than 27,000 staff and 225,000 trained volunteers in over 190 countries. Paul helped conceive of and found the Innovation Center for Technology (ICT), a technology incubator based at Campus Crusade's World Headquarters in Orlando, Florida. The ICT leveraged emerging Internet technologies in partnership with numerous Silicon Valley companies and creative agencies. After launch, Paul served as the ICT's first Director of Technology and as the Interim Director/CEO during transition to long-term directorship in 2004.

Before the ICT, Paul pioneered numerous revolutionary projects within Campus Crusade including an online community for global leadership, various viral marketing sites, and the inaugural staff Extranet containing the first staff-accessible information database of organization information and resources.

Paul is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He resides in Seattle, WA with his wife, Jennifer, and daughters, Fiona and Sinead. In his limited spare-time, Paul is deeply involved with fine art painting and the pursuit of the meaning of life.
